Watching moonlight play today was genuinely the best competitive splatoon I’ve ever seen and really encapsulated the experience. Unfortunately unable to beat Milky Way but regardless should go down as the best western tourney we’ve ever gotten to watch. Also hammer top 3 special idgaf.

pro tip soloq is a lot more fun when youre focusing on yourself rather your teammates and whatever number youre pushing

Posting a week late but who give af. First time playing a pickup in the raise the line server and it’s by far one of my best pickup experiences already. It’s so nice to play with other soloq warriors even if I never played with these people and comp wasn’t the best they had the skills to make up for

Wanted to share my thoughts about this since it’s become lost media since it got posted after SWS. I will say soloq really is the best way to improve the hard part is learning how to accept loses and keep ur mental straight bc that’s how you get consistent. #compsplatoon

i’m so at war with the x rank debate. as someone who plays an unconventional backline i have several issues with x rank. but before i get into those i want to say that x and solo in general are a great way to improve at the game, should you have the time to grind them

Got just below 2600 in JP X rank today would’ve never guessed I’d get this far ngl. Wanted to get 2500 before I went back to school but I ended up exceeding that which is fucking awesome

Also my thoughts on the tourney as a whole are that the west despite having improved the scene tremendously in just the past few months, will probably never have the surrounding culture to push themselves to beat JP consistently. Our playbase is too small and top players can only improve so much
