Today - along with colleagues from Ulster University UCU and regional @ucu.org.uk representatives - we had a productive meeting with @caoimhearchibald.bsky.social, the Minister for the Economy in the Executive, about a sustainable and accountable Higher Education sector for Northern Ireland.

Five unions speaking up in unison because staff has been cast aside as an afterthought one too many times in the turbulent past two years in #UKHE. If 2 unis fail to mention to their staff that they're merging before their big press splah, you know you'll have to fight for a seat at the table.
