shopping for wedding cake toppers, it is truly disconcerting how many involve the little bride figurine having to literally drag the groom figurine away from something he enjoys (sports, video games, you name it) and presumably towards the aisle. Like I know the straights aren't okay but yeesh.

My mom- who is not a gamer in the slightest but knows I am- works at a restaurant next to a game dev studio that just got dissolved. So now she has a bunch of hot gossip about the closure and all the companies trying to swoop up the now former employees. It's been fascinating.
