Had a mean winstreak in #Nightreign yesterday. The wife hard-carried my sorry bird-ass with duchess all the way. It's kinda funny. We thought "Deep of Night mode probably isn't for us." Here we are at Depth 3 😆. Also: This still isn't the year my most played game wasn't made by Fromsoft.

Currently preparing for the second to last arc /scenario for the 1-on-1 #Ravenloft campaign. The whole thing is nearing its 300th session and I´m finally getting the feeling that it should actually end. Also because preparing becomes harder and the all the major things haven been done and told.

We beat all the #Nighreign bosses as duo. Happy with the game after being very skeptical at first. The unexpected part is how much fun it is to keep an eye on the map, plot a route, make risky decisions. It's a bit of a rush sometimes even. If you just follow, try it in solo, it's great.

I read some (imo) wild takes on touchstones in VtM. "They're rarely a family member" and "Better to not know them intimately". Also "we're only using items as touchstones, easier to keep track of" I think it's fun to know a touchstone. Wouldn't you wanna protect them? Where's the drama? #ttrpg #VtM

If I´m allowed one unhinged ttrpg take, it´s probably that I truly believe that books full of lore, inspirational snippets and setting info are a lot more valuable than pre-written adventure modules. And I think it´s tragic that the balance in offered products seems generally in favor of the latter.
