That knee lift is maybe the best-feeling attack in brawler history. The sound effect alone gives me an little hit of dopamine.

I still think Double Dragon II: The Revenge (NES) has some of the most satisfying combat in a video game, ever. One of my all-time faves. What a classic beat-'em-up. When you hit someone, you HIT them. Good times.
