I’ve seen small and new devs scared to show unfinished games because they might “spoil them.” If your audience is just your friends, then that might be true. But don’t you want your player base to be somewhat larger than that? Playtesting is the secret weapon to making a good game!

When I watched someone play the first game I tried to make, they got stuck early on because they thought some background scenery was a wall and went a different way. I’ll never forget how much that changed my perspective
