I've taken to turning the music off in Expedition 33 while I memorise the parry patterns of the super bosses. I treat them like 'training' rounds, then put the music back on for the last few killing blows. Why? It's easier for some reason. Also, I am pathetic.

I've reached 'Disc 3' of Expedition 33. The way they wait until this part of the game to let you break the 9999 damage limit is terrific design – it's a change that gets you to rethink every character loadout you have. You have myriad enemies to figure out. The difficulty arc of the game is spot on.
