PS... I did love being at the Bodleian today... but I also got asked FIVE times if I was supposed to be there. Apparently I give off extremely strong 'Lost plumber' vibes!

Spent the day at the Bodleian doing some research (!) and I think there is something profoundly wonderful... and yet also slightly ghoulish, about going through all the paperwork left behind by a single human life.

Finally finished @sachacoward.bsky.social ’s book, Queer as Folklore. So glad I took my time with it. It was so enjoyable and dug further in to queerness and otherness in folklore, mythology, and history of the arts than I've had exposure to before. I definitely recommend it.

Me: And its not like I want to make a big deal out of it. I dont want people to think I'm some kind of narcissist! There's been so much good faith support from my community, it would be disrespec- Tattoo artist: You want 'award winning author' on both biceps? Me: Both.

As one of the judges for this year's Best Nonfiction, it was a joy to give this book a push further onto the public spotlight.
