Just as I was starting to work on an update, some signs appeared that the hard drive where I store all my SNES files was failing. Looks like I managed to back everything up, though. If things go well, I should have an update up later today!

I finally finished Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake. It took me 57 hours over a 5 month period to get it done. To be honest, it was a drag by the end, I think I would have preferred it to be over in 35-40 hours. Beautiful game, though.

In 1994 I created a SNES music demo cartridge whilst working at Software Creations. It featured the music from several of our games. It allows you to play any of the tunes from each game. It was used to demostrate our music to potential new clients. Here's the PLOK! music demo.

Unreleased SNES game - Vince and Larry ( Crash Test Dummies ). I worked on this early prototype for a few weeks at Software Creations - around 1992/3. However, we stopped developing it and moved on to another game. Test artwork by Lyndon Brooke who was the lead artist on SNES PLOK!

Who wants to play Asagiri Quest, an RPG set in the town of Asagiri? Asagiri is a small town in rural Kumamoto.

In our third attempt after 8.5h we made it to level 75 of Lufia 2’s Ancient Cave. The party is well leveled, we’ve got Dekar’s Sword and the equipment is otherwise also decent enough (despite very few blue treasure chests). I’ve got high hopes this run will make it!

I have been working on an all JavaScript SNES assembler setup for a long time, recently I picked it back up & now have 90% parity with the asar assembler (skipping patch specific operations) and can now fully generate these lil slideshow ROMs. Hopefully tomorrow I will finish the website half 💖

Well, instead of adding stuff to the site, I decided to do some programming to get the SNES Central database going. The first script for this that I originally wrote a few months ago was going to be prone to cause problems in the database. The new code is more compact and safe!
