Just rewatched S4 of "Homeland" (chosen to get out of the way of a certain arc). 12 perfect episodes. Mission after mission, twist after twist. Today, we'd get one of these episodes stretched into 6 or 8 and called a season. Was "Homeland" just that good, or do we not realize how bad TV is now?

Rob Reiner: “Silence in the face of authoritarianism is complicity. Speaking out is a patriotic act. Democracy doesn’t defend itself. It requires participation, vigilance, and courage from ordinary people."

The cultural impact of Rob Reiner cannot be understated. Legend isn't big enough a word. It goes to 11. You can't handle the truth. As you wish. I'll have what she's having. I'm your number one fan. You guys wanna see a dead body? The very idea of a bucket list. The West Wing. All from his movies.

About 15 years ago, I discovered that, based on rewatches, Rob Reiner was my favorite director. The Princess Bride, Spinal Tap, When Harry Met Sally, A Few Good Men… But he was also a tireless activist for progressive causes. Probably the main one in Hollywood! This is awful.

I don’t think we’re talking enough about how After the Hunt is maybe the worst film ever made and makes the viewer wonder if they accidentally took a psychedelic substance right before watching it. Did it have a script? My official review is: “WHAT?”

Just finished Celebrity Traitors and I would like to find the show’s unintentionally hilarious incidental vocals on Spotify or something. They consist of a woman’s voice randomly whisper-singing fragments like “Who to trussssst” or “So much manipulationnnn.” Like 100 of these!

I want more people to care that SNAP benefits are being cut off on November 1. 40% of SNAP beneficiaries are children. This is callous and vile.

Was just reading about all the Florida idiots who are sick from raw milk and remembered a year ago in Paris in the grocery holding up a bottle of milk trying to communicate with the clerk and resorting to “ummmmmmm Louis… Pasteur?” (This did not work.)
