Heage Windmill looking splendid in the August sunshine. A tower mill, built in 1790s & working by 1798. It had originally 4 common sails. Which after a storm in 1894 damaged it, it was repaired with six patent sails & an ogee cap. Closed 1919, after ups & downs it was restored in 2002 run by vols.
