Naturally, I need to share how the fund works. We create crochet critters. Hedgehogs, toadstools, little ghosts. They have beads so they can be used as a fidget. They are located at a few stores around the city as a donation based item. All funds are cycled back to community needs.

Good morning! I used the remainder of my current funds to set up a woman who is currently houseless with a temp phone. She’s staying with me while we get something more permanent and I could use some funds assistance. Venmo: mutualaidhedgehogs I’m only looking for $100 or so for any expenses.

If I get extra, I’m buying a futon mattress. My cats peed on my existing one so she’s stuck on a blow up mattress and I think it’s making her body ache. It’s better than the ground but not ideal.

Sustainable hedgehog! This one is stuffed with leftover fabric scraps instead of fiber fill. I think I read somewhere that fiber arts create an extreme amount of waste and don’t biodegrade very well so I’m hoping to do more of this. #crochet #sustainable 🧶
