D&D 5e's biggest strength is it's biggest weakness. It's very much a generalist rpg so it can do most anything but not anything very well. You want tactical combat well yes but pf2e is better, you want mystery well yes but gumshoe is better, you want horror well yes but call of cthullu is better.
