Experimented with a soup idea. Still cooking in a crock pot, but the theme is a bloody mary. Stew meat, potatoes, bloody mary mix for the broth, and chopped celery. A dash of worchestershire sauce and various spices like steak seasoning and onion/garlic powder.

CW: Gross medical stuff So, it turns out I do NOT have a stye. What I did have was a cyst on my lower eyelid. Past tense. After days of prodding, poking, and other things likely not safe, the cyst is gone. In it's place is a small, yet gaping hole that will hopefully heal soon. 😞

I have a large, painful stye in my right eye. It sucks. That is all.

Random movie reccomendations Steel Magnolias and Terms of Endearment. While their genre isn't normally my cup of tea, both movies were very engaging, and I'm not ashamed to admit both made me cry.

I took a friend home from work, and upon arriving at his place, there was a stray kitten. He wanted to adopt it, but he already has one pet, and 2 pets would increase his rent (apartment policy), plus additional vet bills, neutering when older, etc.

For my birthday today, my wife is making my favorite meal; Turkey Bangers and Mash.

Labor Day weekend. My store will be packed all weekend, and I'll be hard pressed to keep up with business; running myself ragged trying to keep the case full as everyone and their uncle wants to grill meat. But I only have to deal with it today!

My cat was laying under my computer room windowsill. I leave the room to get a snack, expecting her to follow. When I exit the room, she's already in the kitchen. I never saw her leave the room before me, so I have no idea when she left. She had to pass by me to exit. Cats are ninjas.
