It’s worth noting that “we need to hold seats where Reform are the biggest threat” and “we need to win over Reform voters” are not the same thing. It is possible (and in fact, much easier) to win back 2024 voters lost to other parties/not voting than to win voters from Reform.

Seems to me that most of the fear of trans rights is really fear of (some) cis, heterosexual men. How fucking awful to lose your rights and society support due to the crimes of a group you never felt you belonged to and have done everything possible to be different to.

Disappointing is such an understatement for the disaster. I don’t blame the court for interpreting the law but it is a sad, sad day for the message it sends.
