I am also a cable guy. I have a spare desk with drawers where there is a multitude of mostly charging cables. I think I also have most of my previous mobile phones, selections of batteries, fuses and selections of bulbs. The joy of ‘hang on til I check’ and then finding the right item. Bliss

If I throw them out I’ll somehow need a SCART cable 3 days later, I know it.

I went through a box of old cables only yesterday looking for a 12v adaptor I wasn't sure I had but needed, and found! Also found a drone I misplaced, a spare HDMI cable (always handy), and very good pair of headphones I forgot I possessed. Long live the box of cables!
