So, apparently most people cannot feel when their blood pressure is jacked up. It seems that normal people (not that I ever have been normal) can blissfully go through life with no noticeable, outwards symptoms of high blood pressure until their heart just gives out.

Woke up with some of the worst coughing so far--got out to the kitchen, and it was a quarter to two am, as I suspected. The medicine wore off. On the one hand, I know my lungs need to get the gunk out. On the other, coughing hurts. Spent the past 45 mins coughing.

Ah yes, the "lung gooeys" stage. The virus has been defeated, and my lungs are now trying to hack out their decaying corpses. Why is biology so gross?!

Two hours. I made it two hours, then noped out home. I got the workday crap done, though, so my boss doesn't have to fight with it on Wednesday. I have one more week to recover now, and I shall start off by passing out.

Ookay, Monday is going to suck. I put the dishes in the dishwasher away, put the few dirty ones in, and tossed out some stuff sitting on the counter. I am now utterly wiped, and I am not at all sure how I am going to make it through even two days next week.

I went to look at toasters to wishlist one, as, well, I don't have a toaster. My bob, what is up with all the digital features on these things?? Just give me one with a knob or lever to set the browning level, a lever to push the toast down, and a removable tray for the crumbs.

I felt myself whining hard at wanting a specific yarn. I do not need more yarn; I am probably in a SABLE state atm. However, the yen hit me hard. Luckily, it's $8.40 per skein, from a company notorious for having small skeins. I just had to see it in print to get the clutch to let go.
