I decided to retopo Kloey's arm. I'm not sure where I picked up the habit of twisting the edgeloops from, but it was causing issues, and I have yet to see another model twist the forearm geometry like that. The end result is a much smoother silhouette, so I think it was worth it!

I apologize for the lack up updates lately; work and life kept me busy, and I wasn't able to work on it as much as I would have liked to. Testing today went very well! I think the VRC weighting is all done finally, and I received the finished blender animation rig from DivideByeZer0! Release soon??

Turns out I had an extra spine bone in Kloey's armature this entire time, which was causing VRC to incorrectly assign the torso bone to a bone that was much lower than intended. I've already fixed and uploaded everything for testing. Hopefully it's the last time I have to make weighting edits... 🥲

I ended up merging the nipple and body geometry together for the Kloey model. It might not be too noticeable, but it looks much better and should help with blender renders down the line. I've also fixed a number of weighting issues that were apparent in the photoshoot.

Today is the birthday!! Sadly, the balloons seem to have gotten lost on their way to bsky, so here's an old celebratory Pyrexia doodle instead. Turning 34 now- I'm hopeful this next year for me will be a good one!

The initial 2.0 update is focused on VRC, I actually removed her blender animation rig since it was kind of messy. I'm not a very experienced rigger and I felt as though I'd have to redo her rig from scratch anyway. If there's interest in it, it will be something I'll add as a later release.

The Kloey 2.0 Update is pretty much ready to go; I just want to do one last test run to catch any issues and also take some time to make new showcase, store, and promotional images/video before distribution. Thank you all again for being patient!

I have this week off of work, so I'm going to try my best to finish up the Kloey model and ship it! Wasn't working on it for a while due to Furality last week- Which ended up going pretty well- After I got over my initial anxiety, I was able to meet some new people and enjoy myself a bit better :)

Going to miss the Scales & Tails, VRC Creator Meet-up, and the Dragon Meet-up because of work... auuughhh

The best cure for anxiety is to spend time with a cat. (Old pic, I am sadly absolutely catless and stuck at work right now).

I always hype myself over conventions and furry social events, but when I actually put myself in them, I end up being pretty lost and isolated. I think I'm just awful at the actual social part of them. Maybe finding a different way to contribute to community events would be a better fit for me?

Had to update my headset software and of course it ended up breaking the app- I'm just gonna grab some dinner and watch the opening ceremony on Twitch I suppose augh

The Kloey model is mostly finished and ready at this point! There's just menu icons and some clean-up I need to do with the unity file and structuring before I can send it out! I might show her off a little at Furality Somna, I think it could be a good opportunity to see what people think?

Sad that I'm gonna be working for most of these days when Furality Somna is going on... I know it's sleepytime themed but I'd like to not be all sleepy irl when I'm there!!!
