emulsion degraded midway through printing these so I'll probably only have a few that I deem acceptable for AC, but now that I've pushed through the breakdown over that I can take some comfort in knowing they'll at least look good when I'm not a dumbass who uses old emulsion next time. I still cannot believe I have a real studio space now. it's literally just a walk-in closet but it's mine and it's perfect. I was making prints in a dark, dusty basement before where I couldn't even stand up fully. printmaking is no longer just an exercise in misery.

still a few years from 30 and have the benefit of living in a big city, but I've found that if you can find a part-time job where you work *with* art rather than actively having to create it (art handling, framing, print shops, teaching, etc) its a lot easier to keep the creativity flowing.
