Evgeni Malkin (1x5.5m extension with Pittsburgh) is still a very strong player even at age 39. Generates offence from the best areas, a great setter, a very good finisher. Defensively dire but still a first-line calibre player despite it.

I really don't have a read on tonight's Game 7. Both teams are flawed in their own ways. Both teams have players that can hurt you in time and space. I think a lot of it swings on Buffalo's goaltending. The other dynamic is if Buffalo can stay out of the box as a result of idiotic penalties

Lindy Ruff deserves credit for blowing up the personnel on PP1. The new group with Quinn, Benson, and Doan are way more functional
