Hey #WrestleSky Have any indie wrestlers introduced you to bands/artists you wouldn’t have normally checked out just by having them as their entrance theme? Su Yung used to use Silversun Pickups (who I now love), and Sovereign use Full Flower Moon Band, who I’m now getting in to. Just curious.

Anyone use Obsidian? I’m giving it a shot. I’m not entirely sure what I’m doing with it and how/if it is better than just using other apps already on my phone/ipad, but I’ve been curious about it for a while. If you use it, please share your thoughts, uses, etc.

I finally stopped fighting my disability and have embraced it, and what a difference. My iPad has text blown up super high (thank god for the 13 inch screen) and serves as both a phone and laptop replacement for me. It’s probably unbearable for someone else to look at, but that doesn’t matter.

Really like #AEW setting up multiple challengers to MJF’s title. I’m a big believer in having multiple people actively chase the title. Makes it feel more prestigious, and it adds an “anything can happen” element.

Taz brings SO MUCH to the table. Commentary seems rejuvenated with him. Danielson is the GOAT wrestler, but his commentary doesn’t do a ton for me. Tonight feels refreshed. #AEW

Thekla is so god damn cool. No two ways about it, but man….unpopular opinion time, Sky and Julia just can not hold their own with her. They come off so robotic and corny. Love the group, love the aesthetics, but Thekla is a friggin star, and I’m not so sure about those two nowadays. #AEW

That curb stomp/dragon tamer combo was N A S T Y! Love the Death Riders. For a long while now, they’ve been my favorite thing in wrestling. #AEW

Huh, positioning yourself as WWE lite and the un-alternative didn’t work out for TNA. AEW fans are willing to watch other promotions. WWE fans aren’t. TNA made the stupidest choice they possibly could have, which is extremely on brand. It’s only going down from here. Interested in what MLP does.

I have to know: Babes of Wrath conglomerate, or at least, they affiliate. They are pals with Stat Daddy. So… What does OC think of Stat now? Can she conglomerate, or would OC (justifiably) be wary of that… #AEW

Let’s talk something that matters, and no, it ain’t wrestling (I know!) I feel lucky to have my partner. I really do. She doesn’t care about my disability. When I first told her, she said, “Oh, ok!” and that was it. She reads subtitles to me when we watch movies. I never asked. She just did it.

Jenny and I watched “Groundhog Day” last night. It really holds up. I think there’s a real case for it being the best comedy ever made, and at least a top 10 movie. It’s my personal favorite, anyway.

Triple H calls himself the king of kings, and yet I can think of one clearly better than him.

AEW sure is signing a lot of people. Considering they don’t have time for everyone they have now, is something brewing? I hope it’s ROH related. Not to be “that” guy, but I sometimes don’t even have time for all AEW puts out now. I wouldn’t like another main show from them.

People keep saying “I want TNA to succeed…” and it’s like, why? At this point, I think wrestling would be better without it. If they close, it frees up space for another true alternative to rise up. TNA hasn’t done anything worthwhile in TWENTY YEARS. It’s time to move on.

Honestly, I think TNA knocked it it of the park. The goal of a debut show is to show a potential audience EXACTLY what you’re all about. By that metric, that debut was an unparalleled success.

One of the best parts of last night? Bryan Keith getting to show out. I hope he gets more chances. When given the time, he is just killer. Let him collect some bounties. #AEW

Oh, TNA is clearly number two alright…

Malakai Black leaving was the best thing for Brody. I don’t think he’d be in this position and be so beloved if he was stuck in that House of Black nonsense. #AEW

Dana Brooke, of all people, calling The Rascalz, Doyle, Speedball, Killer Kelly, Alexander, and Ace “dead fat” shows an incredible lack of self-awareness.

Look, am I gonna miss turning to my partner and saying “P-p-p Powerhouse” every time Hobbs comes out? You know it. Will she miss it? No. Will I tune into whatever middling crap they have him do in WWE? Also no. So this is 2-1 on the scoreboard in favor of this being a net positive. #AEW

Man, you take the night off of here to not get spoiled on Dynamite and it all goes sideways! Hell of a show. They put Bandido over huge! Hobbs wasn’t going anywhere in #AEW, and I don’t think he’s gonna do anything particularly interesting in WWE, either. Good hand for sure, definite ceiling.

And now my crown broke off my tooth? This really isn’t my week.

Looking forward to #AEW, but it does feel like a show called “Maximum Carnage” should be a show focused solely on brutal matches.
