I started reading 楽園とは探偵の不在なり (There are No Detectives in Heaven) a few weeks ago and I can't put it down. The story is so compelling. It's a murder mystery in a world where angels will drag you to hell if you kill two or more people.

I finished [Crime and Punishment] (Dostoyevski) last night. Then, this evening, I went out and the sky was a beautiful golden! There was even a vivid double rainbow visible!! I fancied myself a convict seeing this view right after 7 years of repentance (and 1 year of saltiness).
