Not sure that #EastEnders 2027 worked that well. Too many questions posed and a year to wait. Lots of contrived awkwardly written moments where names WEREN'T mentioned and the multiple telephone calls trope dusted for yet another airing. Hopefully none of the featured actors die before 2027 starts.

For all the meandering and open-heart dialogue,I really enjoyed the Stranger Things finale. Warm without being overly sentimental. Epic in just the right places. And a final melancholy half hour capped by a familiar end song that we heard performing a similar function a few weeks ago on another show

Happy new year everyone. It's 1.50am and have taken the plunge. (Well, I was awake anyway..) It's a life or death race against time but do they all have keep stopping and opening their hearts to each other like they're exchanging marriage vows. #StrangerThings

This evening I watched Asteroid City at long last. Weird isn't it. Not sure I got it, found it weirdly compelling. Beautiful to look at but my retina is now burnt out and the opticians isn't open again 'til Monday.

I do wonder if we ever did have a problem with litter in the 70s given the high quality of the PSAs of the time. So persuasive and thought provoking. 🤔

With there being no Dr Who Xmas TV special this year, all those folk on social media who insist on posting OTD content reminding us of the anniversary of all those previous specials make me rather sad. "Look at what we DON'T have this year!" is what they're saying. 😞

For many of my friends on social media, the wish to you to have a happy Christmas is something that can so easily be taken for granted. Some will find the wish more difficult to act out. It's not your fault. Fate just falls that way. To you I send love and the thought that you are NEVER alone. 🌹
