Just sitting here reminding myself that having a child with childhood apraxia of speech isn't the end of the world and one day he will talk and not use his body to convey his frustrations. He will talk. He will be ok. I am not failing. I am a good mom. We will be ok.

After much practice and determination Tiny Dude finally sung his ABC's correctly and independently this morning over breakfast. My heart is bursting. He's been behind all year and has really struggled. We're so proud of him!

Having a child with significant communication delays is not for the faint of heart. Cried today at Tiniest Dudes physical because the tantrums, acting out behavior, frustration has me all feeling overwhelmed, bewildered & so upset. He cant even help it. My Momma heart is sad.
