I love that they made it the origin story but I also love how much personality Link and Zelda both have! Like both are portrayed like normal teenagers before the events happened. Then it went from “I need to save my best friend” to “we have to save the world” I can gush about this game anytime 🥰

Time to bring up my favorite quote again.

When Impa scolds Link for being late to save Zelda, it feels like a jab at the player too, for any time spent goofing off. Being looked dead in the face and told "you're not good enough" made me feel for Link even more than normal, and really drives his struggle / journey home.

Age of Imprisonment's endgame was legitimately perfect to me. Peak final boss. Peak final few missions. TotK's endgame also had me like this.

Probably the fight with Demise from Skyward Sword during my first playthrough of it. That fight was so intimidating and cool that I had to lock in
