No matter how you feel about the console itself, it perplexes me how anyone at Nintendo thought a three-pronged controller was a good idea. Yes, I know this was a whole year before the PS1 analog controller and a month before the Saturn 3D controller. It's still an awkward design.

I'd have been content with an "OoT 3D HD" with updated textures and right stick camera control, but nonetheless, I've also stated a few times that I'm intrigued by the new remake. OoT will always be a classic, but there's room to improve.

In a day and age when Sonic is definitely more relevant than ever and we take his popularity for granted, it can be hard to imagine the world's most famous hedgehog in multiple rough spots. For every banger like Colors or Generations or Mania, there was an '06 or Rise of Lyric-level disaster.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 was a fantastic conclusion to the original saga, so I'm glad Xenoblade Genesis seems to be a "new beginning" for the series.

Honestly, whether it's a 1-to-1 remake or vastly different, I'd like to see them expand on the story. I'm also curious to hear the characters' voice lines. Regardless, I always imagined the ideal remake closely resembling the official art. The 3DS version did a solid job at this.

Stop treating difficulty like a personality test. Some people want the wall. Some people want the story. Some people want the world. Some people want to relax after work and not get folded by a skeleton with a stick. Some people already played hard mode all day. Let them have the damn game.

Whenever I see an AI disclosure on Steam, I have to ask why. Like, why would you use generative AI knowing consumers will find out and thus refuse to buy your game? The only game with a disclosure I recall buying was THPS3+4, which, while I still enjoyed it, didn't have one until *after* release.

I always knew Miss Piggy was a red flag.
