My previous post reminds me of when I ran TTRPGs in Roll20. I calculated the cost of the service over my time using it and it was over $500. I bought Foundry VTT and didn't look back. Fuck that shit.

So far I have seen HP laptop rentals, Nintendo Switch 2 rentals, and LG TV rentals. Framed as subscriptions. Naturally. And the standard duration is typically for a few years. And that final cost is often more than just buying the goddamn product.
