Palace’s fixture with Leeds Utd has been moved to the 20th of December, 8pm kick off. Palace requested the fixture be moved to allow them more time to rest before the Arsenal EFL Cup quarter-final.

Ebere Eze was the first of a new kind of Palace signings. Young, talented and hungry, he brought guile, exuberance and confidence into a Palace team so reliant on Wilfried Zaha for sparks of magic. Brilliant on the ball, graceful off it with a wicked shot — he gave us an edge.

The thought of Ebs going fills us with sadness. He’s been an incredible ambassador for Palace, a magical player to watch and a consummate professional who did all he could for us. The scorer of our winning goal in the FA Cup. What an honour to have seen him in red and blue.

Our mission now, as a fanbase, is to get behind our team with such strong support that they go all the way to the final, so we can shove our absolute hatred of UEFA and their poorly drafted rules right down Ceferin and his cronies throats.

Wishing Steve Parish and everyone attending CAS on behalf of Palace good luck in their mission to convince the court of the wrongdoing of UEFA at today’s hearing. We beat City against the odds to win the FA Cup so we can beat the odds to win this case too.

As an antidote to some of the madness yesterday, Palace are the 12th best team in the World per Opta’s rankings.

The draw for the competition we shouldn’t be in has been made, and if Palace lose their CAS appeal they’ll play against Fredrikstad of Norway or Denmark's FC Midtjylland. At least both those matches would have reasonable travel options. As always, fuck @UEFAcom for doing this.

Winning the FA Cup really was a dream come true. A moment we could only imagine, becoming reality before our very eyes. That’s what should always be remembered, whatever comes next. Because that moment changed our lives.

Matt Turner was a good man for Palace. Supportive of teammates, always positive about his role at the club and ready and willing when needed. He was only on loan but he got Palace. He deserves better than to be treated as a commodity. Good luck back at New England Revolution, Matt ❤️💙

Palace’s appeal to CAS has been received, as confirmed by CAS. Interestingly, the appeal lists Lyon and Forest as parties. We shall see what happens. CAS have indicated that they’ll have an outcome by the 11th of August at the latest.

The morning after the day before, and it’s difficult not to feel dejected and disappointed in @UEFAcom and their processes. Anyone digging even a little beneath the surface will see that Palace aren’t and have never been part of the kind of MCO that Red Bull or Man City operate.

The thing about this UEFA wait is…surely while they were awaiting the Lyon outcome, they came up with an interim opinion so that they could then work quickly from that point on? They surely haven’t just waited until the outcome to actually get to work?

Supposedly today is the day we see the new home kit (at least!) — so let’s have your favourite kit of all time! Is there a better one than the evil sash?

If today’s Lyon case outcome means that UEFA have a decision to make, there’s no need to panic. There are steps to be taken. If UEFA decide to exclude Palace from the Europa League, there are still avenues for that to be challenged. Hold your nerve.
