Further updates on the party! This is the height difference among them. Most of it is understandable, but there's now talk of yeeting the kobold if necessary. In addition, I somehow wound up with a kenku, warforged (custom history), human, gnoll (again, custom history), and said yeetable kobold.

Well, that first session went better than I ever could have hoped! The party seems to get along, they're all taking the bait for plot hooks, and I can't wait to drop my first-ever combat on them in the next session. Gods I hope they survive it and that the dice gods don't fuck them over...
