ALRIGHT AHAHA I got out of my lyft and into my house at 5am Christmas Day after spending 24 hours with my recently widowed by fire neighbor on Christmas Eve so she wouldn't be alone.... Now comes the part where the adrenaline of being 'On' fades, I start shaking like a maraca and try not to cry.

Leaving the hospital at 4:15 a.m. on Christmas Day... She still couldn't sleep, but I really couldn't stay any longer. I've been in this hospital very nearly 24 hours, and I've been awake the whole time... Still, she was so glad to have me there that that it really makes it worth it.

2am on Christmas day weee.... I'm tempted to slip away, but I went to the bathroom earlier and when she opened her eyes and I wasn't there she called for me with such terror that I might be gone, that the thought of leaving before she's all the way asleep rips my heart out...

1am at the hospital weeeee... I said I'd stay till my poor neighbor fell asleep...but she's been having panic attacks and nightmares so is thus...not sleepy... Goodness, poor woman deserves some rest...

OKAY with a friend's asistance I am taking a lyft to see my poor neighbor on christmas eve... She's in her late sixties and her husband and dog died in an awful housefire in October; her daughter hurt her back and can't be there. She's terrified to be alone on Christmas Eve... Wish me luck...
