I still haven't looked at the news if you can believe it, my most current Current Events is about two weeks off date and I'm honestly quaking in my pouch at the thought of getting caught up.

Last time I had to be hospitalized I whispered my mother's phone number over and over again. So I could remember it when someone let me near a phone. It's burned into me. This time I was so stressed out it was the only number I could remember. I called it, all that told me was the mailbox was full.

So I think the Georgia mental health system just gave me more trauma than help, but they did....ow... You know it's only funny when another patient casually threatens to beat you to death the third time. Ha...hahaha...haaaaaaaa Processing dears, but I did get a therapist appointment out of it.

While sleeping pills can be effective, something typically more effective is creating a bedtime routine with good [sleep-] hygiene. No screens 90 minutes before bed. Put your phone in another room. Make sure your room is very dark & cool. Brush teeth & changing into PJs. Then lights out, bedtime.
