Any recs to overcome this? I've been working on a journal article since '22. I've revised a few times after great feedback from other folks. I feel stuck. I've lost steam finishing it. I found new material that slightly changes the argument + just don't know if I have the capacity to revise again.

The hardest part of being an adjunct is switching between universities--dealing with different procedures, policies, expectations, LMS platforms, etc. Hopeful for something more permanent so I can finally learn one system and stick with it!

Historians of slavery: someone told me about a trope of trading enslaved girls for a dress. I’m writing about a mixed-ancestry Dakota-African American girl traded for a dress. Any recs that examine this trope more broadly? They said it's familiar in the hist of slavery, but I can't find much.Thanks!
