Spent the last few days reading the last four novellas of Lois McMaster Bujold's Penric and Desdemona series and greatly enjoyed them. While I do find Penric to be a bit too perfect of a protagonist, I enjoy that the stories are focused more on emotional and moral struggles than 2 fisted adventure.

One of the problems with arguing about what is/is not politics is that most people disagree on what political means. I always say that D&D is political because it supports individualism vs collectivism, which is a political statement. Many others have disagreed with me, but that is what I believe.
