There was a bizarre fight in the Obama Admin around CGE modeling of climate regs. What ever the merits, industry wanted this modeling b/c the models magnify the economic effects of policy costs. BUT, the same folks seemed unwilling to acknowledge that _benefits_ also echo through the economy.

We also identified the most common fallacies in climate misinformation. Slothful induction and cherry picking were the most common, followed by oversimplification and misrepresentation. Single cause (a form of oversimplification) was fifth.
