One excellent organization I know for Iran is Children of Persia. All volunteer-run, they work in Iran’s poorest villages and towns and have a U.S. Treasury dept license (hard to get!) to transfer funds. I know the people who run it. They are worth your donations as well.

To the majority of Americans it's just a "dumb war", a stupid nuisance, a distracting inconvenience, an unnecessary elevation in gas prices. To us in this region it's our physical & mental & emotional & spiritual integrity on the line. Even if we survive physically we'll still be scarred for life.

The way the Israelis are talking about Lebanon is exactly how Russia talks about Ukraine but there are still US liberals who think that Israel is anything qualitatively different in scale or scope. The Israelis talk like they own everyone around them and have the right to bomb them as they please.

Take note of how almost nobody in Europe or Israeli society said a word about how Ben Gvir treats Palestinians who are illegally detained in his fascist prisons. As soon as he records himself doing a tenth of this kind of torture to Europeans, everyone is uproar. Good, but maybe expand the outrage.
