Studies of the elephants for which we actually know what the size and morphology of external ear looks like. From left to right woolly mammoth, asian elephant, savannah elephant, forest elephant. Scaled to around same head size

There we go, the first formation piece of the year 2025. The upper Bugti member of the Chitarwata formation has a lot of megafauna (and not much else), but it contains one of the few instances where Paraceratherium and proboscideans overlapped.

"King of Meadows" - Prospective printmaking design. I'm not sure how large this would need to be nor if I'd need to do woodcut or linocut. Or if it'd be better off being screenprinted. But...whatever I decide in the far flung future here's the art for it.

I've worn this joke out elsewhere after several years, but: new platform, et cetera. Don't forget that during the Mesozoic, the 'turkeys' eat you. Happy Thanksgiving, USian friends. Citipati and Zalambdalestes. From 2017/18.
