Hey all! đź‘‹ To introduce myself for any newcomers, I'm a primarily digital artist with an interest in paleontology. I draw a lot of dinosaurs, as well as some creature art and fanart (particularly Jurassic Park).

A JP-styled Psittacosaurus I did for fun. Ultimately, I think it looks better and more distinct with the quills even if they were only described after the first trilogy had wrapped (from what I can tell).

I'd been meaning to post more art here and it totally slipped my mind for a bit there. But, with Jurassic World Evolution 3 coming out soon (including a host of baby dinos & other animals) I figured I'd share more of the hypothetical baby JP/JW animal designs I did a while back.

Going off the Spinoraptors I posted recently, here's the sketch sheet that design arose from. This was done following Jurassic World Evolution 2 releasing their hybrid-centric DLC.

Here's a quick T. rex stop motion test I did yesterday, with a puppet I've made. I wanted to animate more, but I bumped into the camera 🙄 The puppet is made of wire and foam for the body. The head is made of a 3D print skull by Vitamin Imagination, and the "skin" is just unbaked sculpey

Here's my take on the Rebirth Spinosaurus! I feel I've seen equal parts love and disdain for these guys, and frankly I'm with the latter. I don't love what I've seen so far, and being early attempts/more "modern" does not carry the design for me. Still much prefer JP3's.

Did I make this solely because the Rebirth Mosasaur looks a little “portly” in the merch? Yes, yes I did.

Next up it's the Quetzalcoatlus. I've seen people say the Dominion look was perfectly fine and could've been used here again, and I generally agree with that. Though if they want to lean into the "wrong/unfinished" angle, I think some flashier head ornamentation might be nice.

I haven't talked much about Rebirth, but atm I'm not loving it. The series "reset" is odd and I don't love the creature designs on the whole. As someone immersed in the designs of this franchise, I feel that carries some weight and I wanted to share my takes on the new dinos.

Allosaurs are formidable predators on their own, but are even more capable in pairs or occasional groups of 3. Records of a poacher who shot an Allosaur but failed to down it paint a grim picture of his final hours. This is the last (for now) of a series from last year. Posting the rest soon!

I recently commissioned

to make some JWE2 Velociraptor cosmetics for me and they turned out amazing! If you want to use these in your own parks, I'll include the Nexus link below.

As a result of changes made during the cloning process, InGen’s Carnotaurus favor ambush hunting over pursuit. Enhanced eyesight and sophisticated chromatophores in their skin allow the animals to track prey through dense foliage while hiding in plain sight.

InGen's Microceratops are largely arboreal animals, similar to monkeys or squirrels. While they excel at leaping from branch to branch, they can also move quickly along the ground by hopping like wallabies.

InGen’s Ouranosaurus is certainly a spectacle to behold. Its vibrant, fiery sail mirrors the crimson sunsets that often grace the tropics of Central America.

More patient and reserved hunters than most, InGen's Metriacanthosaurs can be overlooked in favor of the company's bigger, louder, and more vicious carnivores. But their calm demeanor can be deceiving, and turning your back on them is just as much a mistake.

I don’t draw Allosaurus from memory often, and when I do I feel that I subconsciously “tyrannosaur-ify” it. So here’s a study to try and remedy that.

One of the largest herbivores engineered, InGen's Apatosaurus are equally serene and mighty. Small herds spend most of their time grazing and browsing in the lush lowlands, and their trumpeting calls compliment those of Brachiosaurs quite nicely.

The tall dorsal spikes on Biosyn's Giganotosaurus reach far above its backbone, and serve as a formidable display for mates and opponents. The young lack this feature, but are far more vibrant and energetic.

Masrani’s breed of Sinoceratops are heavyset and powerful animals, with Pachyrhinosaurus DNA in their genes. The curious holes in their frills are thought to play a role in courtship, with males casting lights on the ground for females.

InGen’s Mamenchisaurs, likely due to splicing with Seismosaurus, resemble diplodocids. And the young are similarly more selective when feeding, going for more nutritious plants to help with speedy growth.

The dinosaurs from JWE2's Cretaceous Predator Pack drawn with a bit more "Jurassic Park" and a bit less "Jurassic World" (a technical distinction but an important one).

My other "Resequenced" dinosaur, Baryonyx. There's a chance I come back to this idea sometime in the future, but probably not anytime soon.

I'll be re-posting a lot of my older art for a while, and this feels like one of the best to start with. This is my Resequenced Indominus. Basically my spin on Jurassic World's Indominus rex, trying to capitalize on its strengths and undeveloped potential.
