This story sums up college football very neatly: a player stabs two of his teammates (violence is a ubiquitous part of the sport, even internal to the team, even off he field, even encouraged by coaches)… and then the game proceeds as if nothing is out of the ordinary. Because it isn’t, really.

As brutal and exploitative as the NFL is, it is morally superior to the godawful NCAA.
