Hilma af Klint was born in Sweden on 26 October 1862, and known primarily as a painter . Her thoughts on gender, androgyny, and the fluidity of presentation that have led many queer folks to feel she may identify as a lesbian or with some other sapphic identity today.

i'm not interested in some sort of disneyfied unsexy LGBTQ+ community being preserved. that's not us. that's not our history. you can't take the "sex" out of "homosexual". i don't give a crystal shit if you can still steam "love, simon". the freaks and queers i know are making porn.

the problem, as i see it, is not that censoring erotic content is a slippery slope to censoring LGBTQ+ culture. it's that censoring erotic content IS censoring LGBTQ+ culture.
