I think it's pretty simple. He is a narcissist TV guy who has been the center of attention for his entire life because he inherited money and our media outlets are obsessed with wealth. He likes being around people who are popular because he gets to be a part of the attention directed at them.

This is so odd. Why would you dump money into one software company when all of the tens of AI software companies depend on the hardware companies that number in the single digits? Maybe they are betting on OpenAI getting that too-big-to-fail taxpayer-funded bailout?

I understand the argument here, but it is a bit misleading. Inflation is a measure of reduced purchasing power of *goods and services*, while interest rates reduce purchasing power of *debt*. (Would be curious what a real economist, maybe

thinks of this)

1. Trump says that the letter to Epstein is fake because the letter is "not the way I talk." Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said the letter is "not at all how he speaks or writes." JD Vance said the same thing. Does the letter sound like Trump? I investigated.

The absolute dumbest thing about Yglesias’s argument here is that climate-aware industrial policy *is* materially beneficial for workers. “air pollution in Middletown was responsible for up to 67 premature deaths, more than 20,000 cases of asthma symptoms”

I don’t believe it’s different. Either by fact (there’s nothing in the files and DT is just paranoid) or by malice (his goons in the FBI will destroy evidence). But this is a clear-eyed take on the situation. Content never sleeps.
