FYI, when I wrote the Byline piece, he got his lawyer to send me a threatening legal letter about the Novara piece. However, he was past the 1 year mark where you can file a defamation claim. His argument? He had not personally closed down any pubs, so I shouldn't be allowed to say he did that.
