Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon turns 10 today! It is, as of now, the most recent brand-new entry in the series! And to be truthful, I think that if it weren't for nostaliga for Explorers, Super might be my favorite entry.

The most common way I die in Legends Arceus is just me walking right off a cliff as I fall asleep taking in the chill vibes only to be woken up by an ear-splitting screech and I think that's hilarious. The second most common is me fucking around and finding out with wild Pokemon.

I'm genuinely convinced Pokemon fans either have Stockholm or just enjoy getting slapped in the face constantly by TPC and GF. I know I was stuck in the former with Dexit but just learned to distance myself from it because it was more frustrating and exhausting for me than it was worth.

Two more things that would have more or less made Legends Arceus a perfect game: 1. National Dex (this is me for any modern Pokemon game now and not a surprise). At the very least up to Sinnoh like BDSP would've been nice. 2. Distortion World postgame exploration

Y'all have those songs that you love but you can't listen to them unless you're at a certain time of day and in a certain frame of mind and emotion or you'll crack like glass? For me it's a lot of Pokemon anime songs, sometimes Ever17 and some Sonic music based on the context (it's complicated).

Happy 10th to that one game I swore up and down wouldn't be that great because it was probably trying too hard to capture the charm of EarthBound and was overrated to hell and then ended up becoming my current favorite game lol
