AI is and will FOREVER be theft! The data it uses to create your "art" comes from a massive amount of stolen artwork. It's mangling together others' artstyles and artwork, without their consent. It's like going to your favourite restaurants, buying their food and then selling it at your own store.

If AI actually did anything to defend democracy than the elites would hate it with a burning passion and the cultural panic over AI would have resulted in near instant restriction over its use. It's telling that since it does the opposite and helps fascism, you can't get rid of the stuff

also like. there is no penalty to drawing art "society sees as bad." if you can't pay for a commission you can just draw badly! it's ok and no one will come after you for it!
