In Super Mario RPG, the Guerrilla enemy is a "knock-off" of Donkey Kong. This is referenced in a unique way by its Japanese name, which replaces two of its characters with similar ones as though on a bootleg product logo. In English, this could be conveyed as e.g. "Donkev Konq".

Absolutely devastated by this news. SpaceDrake was no doubt a huge influence in drumming up interest for Japanese indie games localized into English and pushing for them on digital distribution storefronts like steam. Huge loss. Might be time for another playthrough of Recettear in his honour.

two things can be true. DK Bananza is probably more affected by spoilers than a heavy narrative game with themes and subtext, as opposed to a pure kids theme park ride where the surprise and novelty are key appeals. also "donkey kong spoilers" is the single funniest phrase of all time
