placeholder game assets should either be so obviously bad you'll notice and replace them or so okay you'll ship them and not even notice and in either case they should be made by a person not AI because it's one of the most fun bits of game development

Just cancelled our Spotify subscription yesterday. I don't want fake AI artists in my playlists, and most importantly I don't want to help fund military drones. We switched to Deezer which seems to be as good and as complete, but tags AI gen music, has lossless audio, and doesn't fund war tools
