Looked up that Beast of Reincarnation gameplay. Looks more promising despite still looking rough in areas. Makes sense why it looks better than anything else made under the Gear Project since it was in development for six years. Too bad Pokemon can't use some of that time to make good games.

Started off this year with KH2 and beat it earlier and yeah it's a really, really great game. Even beat it on Critical Mode. Still got the post-game to go through and other shit I missed since I wanted to wait until I had access to all Drive Forms before touching that stuff.

No matter how good of a writer you are, you will never be as powerful as a Dragon Quest localizer.

Tempted to go back to KH1 just to speedrun it. Only achievements I didn't unlock for it during my 100% playthrough was the stuff you could do during a beginner playthrough. Mainly the speedrun one, as well as the no continues and no changing equipment stuff.

Spent this week playing through Re:Chain of Memories. Felt not great to play at times. There's some stuff I like but there's a lot of repetitive stuff, like with retreading through KH1 again and how exploration is handled in that game. Riku's story and gameplay was cool and I liked way more.

I only saw what Wario64 was posting from awards show but did they seriously announce a new mega man only for it not to be ready until 2027? Bruh that's too early.

Jeff announced at the end of the game awards that they used Generative AI to generate a bunch of fake people to fill in seats to cheer and clap when he said "gaming".

Gonna be real, think the worst part about that one romhacking site that was "shutting down" but in the end didn't, is whoever is running the social media accounts going the route of "how do you do, fellow kids?".

Can't decide on whether I should start Chain of Memories or take a short break and play something else. Probably the latter so I don't get burnout after I went and did 100% for KH1.

Been wanting to play through the Kingdom Hearts since I'm behind on a lot of the newer stuff so I spent the past few weeks replaying KH1. Still holds up pretty well and I got to a bunch of shit I never touched. Not to mention the stuff that was added to Final Mix.

Think it's cool that Time Stranger's DLC is pulling another niche V-Tamer digimon that's barely been in any other media with Parallelmon. A Digimon that is like one of the reasons the crossover parts of V-Tamers happen. Though I'm not in the rush to check out the DLC yet.

IGN is paying attention to censorship again. Use their momentum, call visa and mastercard, tell them you read the article, ask them why they're censoring legal stuff reminder that you don't need to know specifics of what's at play. It's often better to sound like a normie

Been ill this week, and even now not feeling 100%. Kinda spent the last few days watching some videos on how people go about romhacking and translating games. Currently going through Slowbeef's old Dead of the Brain romhacking streams and its been an interesting and chill time.

Sad to learn the demon expansion mod for SMT VV, which was probably just porting existing demons from Dx2 or elswhere, is resorting to using ai-generated models. I know the mod was more quantity over quality, considering how many demons and characters it adds, but man, it's disappointing to see.

I know these days DLC for games is content that was meant for the base game that got stripped out to be sold separately and that's been normalised at this point so barely anyone gives a shit. Legends ZA is one of the more obvious cases of that since it hasn't even been a month.
