Finally found time to finish Little Nightmares 3. Unfortunately can’t stop the overall feeling the game feels unfinished, it never really shines and then it just kinda ends, a few nice ideas here and there but never fully developed, so feels weaker than first 2 games. Plays great on Switch 2.

Still new to Unreal so might be dumb, but today I can't even compile because "warning as error yes" apparently one of the packages they use had a vulnerability found. How often does this happen? I know I can just download new version or pull from source but it's worrying a bit.

Just noticed Valve used Blender and Godot to showcase the Steam Machine used as a desktop computer. It's the new "mac mini"!

I don’t do the amiibo collecting but grabbed this at 18€ and couldn’t resist, it’s a very decent size/price/quality ratio for having in a desk.

This is quite exciting, a Linux centered ecosystem that is easy to pick and play, already runs Windows games, no need to stay in front of the computer after work hours for playing pc and indie games. Whatever price they charge will be the “yay or nay” factor I guess.

wow out of nowhere a new Steam controller and a Steam machine. If Steams plays the cards right here they might grab a good chunk of the home console market.

this is a cool package, but all game key card :( I think at least RE7 would fit on a card. even Village depending on texture compression. They compressed RE2 from 2 CDs totaling ~1400MB to a 64MB N64 cartridge, this feels way more doable.

Sometimes when I'm compiling heavy projects, it might even stop music from playing, small occasional hiccups (spotify, plexamp, etc even blocks Discord calls) however that doesn't happen with Winamp. I think because those web-apps using some JS process that needs more CPU time than given.

Considering how big YouTube is I imagined revenue % would be higher but it’s around 10% of all Google/Alphabet; and maintenance costs of the servers must be high. The *scarier* thought here is Google could kill that service and still be ok. But for all those creators it would be a catastrophe.

null checks are often more damaging in early development when the assumption is "it should never be null" anyway. In that case allowing it to crash early is preferable, it means the problem comes from elsewhere and isn't being ignored down the pipeline.
