Okay now that I've gotten to play around a bit with Ring Racers 2.4, I'm super excited for the final release. The dragon install button is every bit as fun as it sounds and all the changes to combat sandbagging are super nice. Excited to not have to see this jerk every other minute.

One of the things I love about Ring Racers is that if you manage to land a direct hit with a thrown banana or airdropped mine, it plays the loud pipe clanging sound along with the SEEEEGAAAAA soundbite. It's the same as being hit normally but everyone knows your ass got got.

IDK if I'm missing something obvious but I do not understand the purpose of having currency shard drops in Path of Exile outside of mirror shards, fracturing shards, and *maybe* exalted shards. As far as I can tell they're rarer drops than the actual currencies themselves and take up the same space.

Decided to run back to the calm lands offstream to grab the chocobo racing stuff, second try easy game easy life

Decided to toss a 10-roll at the new banner since I was out of honses to train. Got Mcqueen back from my other pre-reroll account and got Curren as well!

So I can only really speak for the Symphonia games, but the first one is such a comfy game for me. The VA was super charming and I still remember Dwarven Vow #7 today. New World, on the other hand didn't need to be a sequel. It felt so disconnected from the original, imo souring the experience.

I am one of the least fire emblem pilled dudes on the planet. I've tried a few of them but I just don't enjoy them enough to stick around. Never tried Path of Radiance or Radiant Dawn. I learned more about FE from playing the board game with @plushmayhem.bsky.social than any of the games.

Another game I have never actually played, although I'm pretty sure my PC at the time wouldn't have run it very well. I remember @smight.bsky.social played it a while back but I don't remember anything about the game itself aside from the bonzibuddy-ass god dude that floats around

I've never actually played SF6! I do want to get back into fighting games since it's been a while since I played em with some pals, but it's unfortunately not in the budget at the moment. The game does look sick as hell, but I'll probably end up waiting on a big sale and hoping folks still play

Peak peak peak peak peak. One of the greatest run and gun games ever made, Treasure was cooking with GH. Most of the weapon combos are super fun to play around with (lightsaber 4 life) and outside of the dice palace the gameplay never lets up. Gunstar Super Heroes on GBA just wasn't the same.

I only played the demo version on the playstation interactive cd sampler (volume 9, naturally) and I thought it was decidedly OK. Decent enough little game and the music was pretty nice but it didn't make me want to get the full game like Metal Gear Solid on the same demo disc.

Easily one of the best "grab a buddy and fuck around" games of all time. My only complaint is that the city was reused from 3, so there wasn't much of a reason to bother with vehicles since you could just jump over everything. Would have loved for it to be designed a little more around the powers

I can't speak to the original PS1 version since I only played it a few times and never owned it, but the GCN version still holds up to this day in my opinion. The graphics for their time were outstanding and I love the way the fixed camera angles build tension by hiding what's around corners.

I unironically love the early attempts to replicate the Simpsons in 3D because they always look so fucked up and weird. Look at Kid Presentable over here, he looks downright Gruesome

It's a goddamn crime that Neo didn't do as well, sales-wise, as the original TWEWY because I had such a good time with it. The battle system imo works much better than in the first game and they did such a good job translating both the visuals and the gameplay into 3D. Play Neo dammit
