Happy to see this work out! 🥳 Here we created hap3H mutants in rice and showed they have more tillers, panicles and higher ETR and PhiPSII when grown in field. We develop an AI tool to quantify chloroplasts in BS cells, and showed that loss of Oshap3H increased chloroplast occupancy in those cells.
