UB would be infinitely more palatable to me if the idea was that Magic’s core identity is that it’s an incredible strategy game and an incredible vehicle to building community, and expanding the universes of Magic helps attract players to build community and extend the bounds of strategy.

Went metal detecting for the first time in forever, and found my first truly key date coin. 1885 Liberty V Nickel, the rarest generally minted date, about 1.5M made. Good condition these can go for $1000's. Not worth much of anything in dug condition, but it is a neat oddity to find.

I passed my PMP exam!! This might not mean much to many of you, but those who get it will understand. Above Target x3. It's a pretty big deal and I'm quite proud of it.

This whole affair has seemed like very one-sided story telling, and shaky from the get go, imo. Cedh is HARD and mistakes happen. The reaction since has been extreme. I've played Kai before, and I don't believe there was intentional dishonesty, and have seen no evidence of a pattern of behavior.

Incredibly disappointed in @magic.wizards.com for not making the change re: hybrid mana. In the format of let people enjoy things", to keep an archaic rule that's unlike how the cards were designed, and stifles creativity was a huge miss.

As with ever Commander Format Update my hope for today is that the community take a breath, step away from their keyboards, and try to consider all sides before posting. And then heavily consider not posting at all. Kindness is not only free, but it can actually make things better.
